These types of characteristics are reminders of the ways religious culture and the Christian story have shaped Québec and its surrounding communities. Growing up in this context, I still remember the importance of attending church and thinking about how God, the Bible and the story of Jesus had something to contribute to one's life and community. But that is not the whole story.
